CAMBRIDGE
INSTRUMENTS:
GPS
Secure Flight Data Recorders

Cambridge
instruments pioneered the world of Secure flight recording
in 1993. They were the first units approved by the FAI
and continue to lead the market with the best data recorders
available today. This is so mainly due to quality and
functionality. CAI has really tried to make these units
completely intuitive to operate. They have done very
well. We constantly find customers who have never read
the manuals and are doing just fine!

Flight
Analysis with 4 Second Resolution:
Cambridge
flight analysis brings a whole new dimension to soaring.
Flight logs from a contest can be transferred to the
PC and checked in less than two minutes. Up to 11 hours
of flight at 4 second intervals are displayed. Every
aspect of soaring flight is shown in amazing detail.
The color display shows, for the first time, differences
in technique and strategy that separate the winners
from the also-rans. This is both entertaining and valuable
in all levels of training, from beginner to world team
pilot.
We've
traveled the gliding world and gained vital experience

Model
20
The
model 20 GPS-NAV system is our lowest cost and most
popular system. It includes everything you need with
a "black Box, an LCD, all PC software, and all
installation wires, brackets, and manuals. It is a small
,light weight system with the antennae attached to the
top of the box. The favorite location for this is behind
the instrument panel immediately below the glare shield.
If this mount is not convenient, think about the model
25.
Model 25
The
model 25 GPS-NAV is functionally identical to the model
20 and physically very similar. they vary only with
cost and Antennae location. The 25 has an external BNC
plug and comes with a small flat plate external antennae
included.
