 Schleicher's now standard of the standard class glider fleet, the ASW 28, is now flying around the world. The sailplane has received rave reviews from pilots who have flown it. Everyone is smiling at the factory. Wonderful rumors have been confirmed. The ASW 28 was given the honor to fly as the "guest of course" in a regional contest in Germany upon its introduction. Brand new and though competing unofficially for the 1st timenthe glider would have won two days and placed highly in the rest. The pilot flying the ASW 28 in this contest bought his own model and as proven in competition pilots now fear and respect the 28's potential.
